10 Jan Pennyfarthing Homes proudly supports Oakhaven Hospice with a £500 Hamper

Since 1999 Pennyfarthing Homes have continuously raised money for Oakhaven Hospice as part of their ongoing support for the local charity and community. As 2022 was a difficult year for many people with food and energy prices impacting everyone, the company wanted to show their appreciation for all the doctors and nurses at the Hospice by donating a large Winter Hamper.

The Oakhaven Hospice provides crucial end-of-life care for people to ensure they are comfortable and well looked after at a time that is undoubtedly scary. Its purpose is to provide specialist care and support to those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones in both a home and hospice setting.

Denise Major, Director of Patients Services at Oakhaven Hospice, said: “Our staff have worked incredibly hard throughout 2022 – it’s a tough job at the best of time, and this year has been challenging. Pennyfarthing Homes’ ongoing sponsorship and support has been fantastic, and this donation is very welcome among our staff.”
