Pennyfarthing Homes has come to the aid of Alderholt Recreational Association by resolving a major drainage problem that had blighted the village’s Recreation Ground. Increased groundwater levels linked to a neighbouring campsite had threatened to disrupt community sporting activities going into the summer months, but prompt action by Pennyfarthing Homes to dig and clear a new drainage ditch has alleviated the problem and ensured local residents can continue to enjoy Alderholt’s highly popular recreational space.
The works have been praised by Alderholt Recreational Association for being completed attentively and professionally, and ensuring no damage was caused to the Recreation Ground playing surface.

Brooklyn Groundworks was contracted by Pennyfarthing Homes to work with them on the project, which involved digging a new drainage ditch as well as clearing the existing front road ditch leading up to the Recreation Ground Entrance.
