11 Dec Pennyfarthing Homes launches its new Whitsbury Green development in Fordingbridge

The wait is now over for prospective buyers who have their hearts set on a brand new, stylish Pennyfarthing home near the centre of Fordingbridge.

The award-winning New Forest based housebuilder launched its Whitsbury Green development last weekend. Buyers were impressed with the quality of build, layout of the show home and the fantastic public open spaces which will offer residents a stunning lifestyle when they move in.

Whitsbury Green is the company’s flagship development of two, three and four bedroom homes  and bungalows set right on the edge of the New Forest suited to first time buyers, downsizers and families.

Pennyfarthing unveiled The Rushbury, a four-bedroom show home, which boasts a large open plan kitchen/diner, study and living room downstairs, as well as four good sized bedrooms including a master bedroom with ensuite.

For first-time buyers, the Government backed First Homes scheme is available at Whitsbury Green, which has been designed to help local first-time buyers and key workers onto the property ladder at a substantial discount of 30%.

The discounts will apply to the homes forever, meaning that generations of new buyers and the local community will continue to benefit every time the property is sold. Pennyfarthing Homes is the first developer to provide First Homes in the New Forest. The construction of these homes has yet to commence and purchase will be subject to meeting certain qualification requirements. Homes will be available to reserve in 2024.
