12 Oct Pennyfarthing Homes crowned winner of prestigious UK Property Award
Pennyfarthing Homes is proud to add another award to its portfolio following the announcement that its popular Alexandra Meadows development in Lymington has won the UK Property Awards Residential Development in Hampshire award. Not only has Alexandra Meadows won this award, it has also been announced as a finalist in the Premier Excellence Awards in the Low-Rise Residential Development of the Year in the South.
Pennyfarthing Homes will be honoured at the UK Property Awards, the largest and most widely recognised programme in the industry, at the Royal Lancaster, London on 26th October, competing against other regional winners in the category to be recognised nationwide as the best in the Residential Development category. The awards are judged by an independent panel of eighty industry experts which is chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, The Earl of Liverpool and Lord Thurso who are members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.
The judges take a variety of aspects into consideration when selecting the winners including; design, quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability. Pennyfarthing Homes’ Alexandra Meadows development has been extremely popular with New Forest househunters since launch and comprises of a variety of innovative and sustainability features which fitted well within the judging criteria.

The Premier Excellence Awards ceremony will be held in London on 18th October where we will find out if we are the overall winner, competing against other finalists from the South. The Premier Guarantee Awards recognises the UK’s best developments that are covered by Premier Guarantee schemes. Each registered development is marked by the company’s surveyors using a stringent marking system looking at; foundations, external works and surface finishes to name just a few of the categories.
