With the Government’s Energy Price Guarantee increasing in April 2023, the Home Builders Federation (HBF) has reported that a new build home could save you up to £3,100 per year on energy bills compared to a second-hand house, a saving of around £260 per month.* That’s money you can add to your savings or spend on the things you love.

To give you an idea of savings to date, The HBF recorded that up to December 2022 the average new build property cost £1,422.99 compared to an average older property at £3,515.48 per year. The difference between an older property and a new build property is £2092.49, which is a reduction of 60%.*

In addition to this, here at Pennyfarthing Homes we have an exclusive offer which means we're offering to pay customers’ energy bills and council tax for three years for new homes purchased between now and 31st March!^

Pennyfarthing Homes will pay the equivalent of up to £300 per calendar month in energy bills over three years, totalling a potential saving of £10,800. Furthermore, (the housebuilder) we will also pay an amount equivalent to three years’ council tax for the home purchased – which has the potential to reach £9,438.†
