16 Nov November off plan launch announced with exclusive early bird offers at Potters Wood
Permission has been granted to award winning housebuilder Pennyfarthing Homes by East Dorset District Council for the second phase of their Potters Wood development near Verwood. Following the sell-out of phase one, the latest new homes of the popular development will be launched off plan later this month on 28th November.
Set in a semi-rural position on the edge of Verwood, phase two at Potters Wood will comprise a selection of three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached homes. Thirty five percent of the proposed new dwellings will offer affordable housing in a mixture of shared ownership and rental, to meet local housing needs. Pennyfarthing Homes will also provide a new crossing point at Edmondsham Road to promote continuity of access between the SANG area and the extended development. A further green corridor is to provide recreation space for residents and the public.
The mature oak trees and hedgerows on the edges and within the site will be retained and enhanced where appropriate. These together with new planting will help to protect and enhance the habitat and biodiversity. The scheme also extends the existing combined cycle and footway along the northern side of Edmondsham Road and pedestrian and cycle access is provided throughout the site.
