25 Jan Pennyfarthing Homes donates a lifesaving defibrillator to Our Lady St Joseph School

A defibrillator is a device that gives a high energy electric shock to the heart through the chest wall to someone who is in cardiac arrest. This high energy shock is called defibrillation, and is essential for saving a life.

In December Jenny Neal handed over the defibrillator to the school, which will be in easy access for members of the public for use in emergency situations.

Our Lady St Joseph School has run training sessions to show anyone that is interested how to use this device.

We hope that this will be of benefit to the Pennington Community.
