About the Area
Locally – The village of Hordle is located between Lymington and New Milton, with a post office, doctor's surgery, several small local shops and a popular Primary School. Situated just a short distance from the stunning clifftop at Milford-on-Sea, and the New Forest National Park, there really is something for everyone, all year round. Whether it be taking a gentle sea walk overlooking the Isle of Wight and the Purbecks, enjoying award winning beaches, sailing or exploring the delights of the New Forest. Local day trips out include, Highcliffe Castle, Christchurch, Hurst Castle, the Isle of Wight, Exbury Gardens, Bucklers Hard, Longdown Dairy Farm, the Annual New Forest & Hampshire County Show not to mention the many watersport opportunities in and around Lymington.
