Locally – Lymington is very much a sailing town, well served with yacht clubs and is surrounded by the stunning New Forest National Park.  The distinctive Georgian High Street hosts a Saturday street market, and is home to a charming blend of individual retailers, coffee bars, restaurants and pubs, together with well known high street names you would expect of a small town.  There really is something for everyone, all year round; perhaps take in a gentle sea wall walk overlooking the Isle of Wight, enjoy the local waters or visit nearby Hurst Castle, the Isle of Wight (by day boat from the Quay, or by car and passenger ferry from the nearby terminal), Exbury Gardens, Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu or the Annual New Forest & Hampshire County Show. 

Transport –– Lymington Train Station is 1 mile away.  Brockenhurst Train Station 5 miles (providing direct access to London Waterloo).  Bournemouth International Airport 18 miles.  Lymington Ferry 1 mile.   Ideally located for the M27/M3. 

Leisure Centres, Clubs  & Library – Lymington Health & Leisure Centre, Pennington and Barton On Sea Golf Club, Lymington Library.

Schools & Colleges – Lymington & Pennington Junior Schools and Pennington County Infant School, Priestlands Comprehensive and Hordle Walhampton Independent Boarding and Day School.  Brockenhurst & Bournemouth Colleges.

Shops – New Milton, Southampton and Bournemouth offer an array of high street stores whilst the Forest villages offer more independent shops.  The nearest John Lewis’s can be found in Southampton and Poole.
