At Pennyfarthing Homes, our customers always come first.

This philosophy has been reinforced by the number of National Awards received over the years. 

Firstly, the introduction of Pennyfarthing's “Customer Ready Certificate” (CRC) procedure has resulted in us winning the "Best Customer Satisfaction Initiative" at the Housebuilding Innovation Awards 2008.  The CRC has enables us to eliminate 90% of snagging problems, as it is issued to certify that the property has been comprehensively checked for defects before it is made ready for occupation.  We are particularly proud of this achievement as it is a National Customer Care award, and we beat competition from some of the largest housebuilders in the country.

Secondly, Pennyfarthing Homes was Top 10 Finalist in 2007 and awarded Silver Accolade (2nd place) in 2006 in the Daily Express National Housebuilder Awards.  These awards are particularly coveted as they are voted for by our customers in recognition of excellent customer care, quality of service and product satisfaction.

All Pennyfarthing homes are therefore rigorously checked from top to bottom to ensure that the property is finished to the highest of standards and is ready to move in to. 

From your very first contact with Pennyfarthing, we provide you with first class customer service, with a personal touch, incorporating:

  • Reliable information to enable you to make an informed decision about your purchase. 
     
  • Guidance through the reservation process, giving help, advice and information.
     
  • Pre-Handover Meeting with our Customer Care Manager to familiarise yourself with your new home, prior to occupancy.
     
  • Handover Meeting with either the Site Manager/Customer Care Manager or a Sales Representative, who will demonstrate the operation of the central heating system and other fittings, upon occupying the property.
     
  • Homeowner Manual giving comprehensive details about your home.
      
  • One-Month Settling-in Meeting when our Customer Care Manager visits your home to ensure that everything is satisfactory.
     
  • Optional Six-Month Post Handover Visit (if required by home owner).
     
  • 10-year NHBC Buildmark Warranty.
