A Household Name
Pennyfarthing Homes has become a household name in the New Forest and surrounding areas. Hundreds of homeowners continue to enjoy the benefit of living in our high quality homes. The secondhand market is testimony to this fact, with the Pennyfarthing name often quoted as a mark of quality in sales particulars. This influence is set to expand as we are now also looking to widen our area of operations to cover the whole of Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
National Recognition
In our pursuit of excellence and innovation, we are delighted that our efforts have been recognised nationally with a number of awards in recent years.
The National House-Building Council (NHBC) set up its 'Pride in the Job' competition to seek out the UK's best Site Managers and reward them for creating quality and well finished new homes. This is an integral part of the NHBC's role to help raise standards for new home buyers. Pennyfarthing Homes has not only acheived this accolade 5 times in recent years, but also featured prominently in the Daily Express British Housebuilder Awards for customer satisfaction, finishing in the top four in 2006 & 2007. We are also delighted to be winners of the "Best Customer Satisfaction Initiative" at the Housebuilding Innovation Awards 2008. Our "Customer Ready Certificate" has enabled us to eliminate 90% of snagging problems, as a CRC is issued to certify that the property has been comprehensively checked for defects before it is made ready for occupation. We are particularly proud of this achievement as it is a National Customer Care award, and we beat stiff competition from some of the largest housebuilders in the country.
Throughout our 30 year history, Pennyfarthing Homes has strived to build homes to exacting standards whilst embracing an innovative style. The Pennyfarthing name is today synonymous with high quality workmanship and stylish design. We have tended to build homes predominantly in the middle to upper price ranges, and all our properties carry a distinctive hallmark, having been individually designed by our retained Architects with input at every stage from our in-house design team and professional consultants. This ethos has ensured we continue to be successful in an increasingly competitive environment, providing homes to which many people aspire.

Awards
National Award Winners!
Once again Pennyfarthing have hit the Jackpot, winning the "Best Customer Satisfaction Initiative" in the Housebuilding Innovation Awards 2008.
This National award is in recognition of the CRC (Customer Ready Certificate) process, whereby stringent checks are made on every property to ensure that snagging items at handover are minimised and, in many cases, completely removed.
The judges were impressed by Pennyfarthing's aim to provide each of its customers with a defect free home and admired their approach of comparing the housebuilding process to purchasing a new car - if all parts are in place, the product "sparkles".
Buyers can therefore be confident that their new home is built to an exacting standard, and is as near perfect as possible by the time they take occupation.
Further Awards
Pennyfarthing received the Silver Accolade in the 2006 Daily Express British Housebuilder Awards with a further success in 2007. These awards are particularly coveted as they are voted for by new home owners, who are invited to complete and return an independent questionnaire based on all aspects of their home buying experience.
