HR/Finance Administrator

We are looking for an efficient and highly self-motivated administrator who will work closely with the HR Director who has a mixture of generalist responsibilities and the Finance Director and finance team.

You will manage all administration relating to the full employment lifecycle, whilst taking ownership for specific areas of HR including learning and development, the HR database and staff events.

You will also provide direct administrative support to the Finance Director with general correspondence, management reporting, plus general office duties for the wider finance team including assisting in processing supplier invoices.

This role requires superb attention to detail and accuracy levels, and an appreciation of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with employee information in line with data protection.

 

What you will need;

  • 3+ years’ experience in an administrative role

Commercial Manager

We are reshaping our construction department and are looking for a commercial manager to join our team who will lead, direct and coordinate the surveying and procurement teams to successfully complete our construction projects on budget, on time and to the right quality.

 

You will manage the development of detailed and realistic cost estimates for each project considering factors such as labour, equipment, materials and overheads, overseeing the creation of comprehensive budgets aligned with the project’s objectives and timescales and close monitoring of same throughout the life cycle.

 

Optimisation of resource allocation to maximise efficiency and minimise costs will ensure the right balance between quality, cost and time and you will regularly assess resource utilisation and make adjustments as necessary.

You will also oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with competitive subcontractors and suppliers and help resolve disputes including evaluation of tenders including relationship management and sustainable social value supply chains.

 

What you will need;

  • Degree in quantity surveying/commercial management
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in housebuilding
  • Exceptional management and leadership skills
  • Proven superior organisational ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Technical Coordinator

We are looking for a qualified technical coordinator who has experience of working within an architectural/design environment in residential housing.

As part of the technical team, you will help achieve the departments operating responsibilities for all stages of the design process including statutory approvals. You will also optimise the scope and requirements of the project providing cost effective and technically accurate design solutions to maximise return on investment.  You will have a proven track record within a design environment with a B.I.A.T./Degree or similar.  A sound knowledge of building regulations, warranty providers and SAPS is essential.
